The Challenge
When this busy café and hospitality business came to us, they were growing fast — but flying blind. With 16 members of staff, increasing turnover and a partnership structure to manage, they were still relying on spreadsheets and had no real financial reporting in place. They didn’t know how their business was actually performing, and they weren’t happy with the support they were getting from their previous accountant.
They needed someone to take control, bring clarity, and build a finance function that could keep up with their growth.
Our Approach
We started by migrating the business from spreadsheets onto Xero, giving them real-time visibility of their finances for the first time. From there we took on day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll for all 16 staff, VAT returns and partnership accounts — a complete finance function, handled by us.
